The Story behind Green Koi Cannabis
Koi fish have been associated with many positive life attributes—including courage, strength of character, and perseverance.
Green Koi’s Southwest Michigan dispensary story starts with YOU! Ever since we knew we wanted to make a difference in the cannabis space we felt that it had to be community-centric. After all, Green Koi is “Where Community and Cannabis Meet”.
When the opportunity arose to seek a home, the Douglas/Saugatuck area just felt like home (because it already was as we’re the only locally owned and operated dispensary in the area). If it wasn’t for the people and the place there wouldn’t be Green Koi (and that goes for wherever else we may set up shop). We built our foundation on true inclusivity, representation, and care for you and ours.

As mentioned in our mission, Green Koi’s Saugatuck area dispensary is all about true inclusivity. Our team and guests come from all walks of life from all over the midwest and beyond. We live by “You Belong Here” and “All Are Welcome” so we’ve curated a safe space behind our doors and constantly make an effort to support as many of you, our surrounding areas, small businesses, charities, and nonprofits (near and far), and important local events as we can.
